by Joe Gallop

The Eikon Exhibition Centre has confirmed that the Belfast Championship Dog Show will remain at the venue for the next three years.

The show, run by the Belfast Dog Show Society, will celebrate its seventh year at the venue in 2022, following a small hiatus in 2020 due to Covid-19.

Jackie Stubbs, secretary of Belfast Dog Show Society, said: “We as a society are proud to work with the Eikon Exhibition Centre in partnership for all our all-breed championship shows. It makes for a great day out with friendly atmosphere and a great feeling all around the show – one not to be missed. We hope to be with the Eikon for a long time to come.”

Commercial and financial director Theresa Morrissey said: “We are delighted to have the Belfast Championship Dog Show on board for 2022, 2023 and 2024. The event is a highlight in our calendar year and we look forward to working with the Belfast Dog Show Society team once again for another successful show.”

This year’s show will take place from 24-25 September.
