Dog Lover Show returns to Glasgow’s SEC for third edition

The Scottish Event Campus (SEC) hosted the third edition of The Dog Lover Show last weekend (2-3 April), with 100 exhibitors in attendance such as breeders, adoption agencies, charities and retailers.

The show, organised by Dog Day Events, also took place at Aberdeen P&J Live the previous weekend.

Vic Shields, Dog Lover Show event director, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have been able to return with The Dog Lover Show 2022. There’s no disputing, the pandemic has raised huge challenges for all in the event industry and many have not been able to recover. We are very fortunate to have such a strong following and support network that has allowed us to return with Scotland’s favourite pet event.”

He added: “The feedback we’ve had from both returning and new exhibitors has been fantastic, and the team at the SEC have as ever been an invaluable resource to us as organisers.

“On the back of the events, we were awarded with Scotland’s Best Pet Event Business 2022. This was a lovely surprise and shows the level of support we have from Scottish animal lovers.

“Apparently the event industry never sleeps, so we are straight back to work to create a bigger and better show for 2023.”
