Diversified Communications has announced the launch of a new sustainability conference for the retail industry, taking place on 13 November and co-locating with Nordic Organic Food Fair and Eco Life Scandinavia at Sweden’s MalmöMässan.
The event will be aimed at senior retail professionals and key industry stakeholders in the Nordic region and will cover everything from sustainability challenges in retails to untapped opportunities.
Carsten Holm, managing director of Diversified Communications UK, said: “Sustainability is a complex issue for all industries and none more so than retail. There are no quick or easy solutions to sustainability, so it is up to everyone to learn from and inspire each other to make a difference.
“The Sustainability in Retail Forum will provide delegates with knowledge from industry thought-leaders, as well as real-life case studies designed to help them achieve their sustainability goals. More importantly, the Forum will provide a platform for debate and networking, so that retailers can carry on the conversation for years to come.”
Speakers lined up for the event include Erik Hedén, founder of Sustainable Brand Index; Anna Högberg, CEO of Futerra Sweden; Johannes Cullberg, CEO & founder of Paradiset; Jim Manson, editor-in-chief of Natural Products Global; Anna-Kajsa Lidell, co-founder and head of progress strategy at Food For Progress; and Johan Cejie, CEO of Moreganic Sourcing AB.
