De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms has unveiled the results of a £700,000 refurbishment of its meetings and events spaces.
The renovation of De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms is part of De Vere’s wider £50m refurbishment of its portfolio.
Most famous for its recently refurbished Grand Hall, which can accommodate up to 750 people, with staging and AV technology available. In total, 13 of the meeting rooms were refurbished. The newly decorated rooms can accommodate meetings of various sizes, with The Covent Garden and Dorset rooms having a capacity of 80 delegates each, while the smaller Board Rooms can hold meetings for up to 12 people.
The property features Smart Space, a meeting concept devised by De Vere which comprises of nine service features designed to offer a responsive, personalised meetings and events service. The features include a live availability booking service, interactive displays, tech-savvy support, up to 1GB super-fast Wi-Fi, and an on-site team of experts to help overcome any tech issues a client may face. This service is available in all event spaces throughout De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms, including the Grand Hall.
The meeting rooms are now equipped with the latest AV technology, and have free, super-fast Wi-Fi available. In addition, Burr & Co, De Vere’s signature coffee shop, is able to provide a range of hot and cold beverages and snacks during breakouts.
De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms also offers Showtime Rewards, a loyalty scheme for corporate event business, offering rewards for customers such as free cinema tickets.
