At the International Confex 2021 Sales Excellence Theatre, a session titled ‘Sales Leadership: Driving Sales Performance, Building Market Share’ took place, hosted by Raoul Monks, CEO of Flume Sales Training.
The session explored how the formula for driving sales performance across teams has changed over the past year.
Monks was joined by a panel of experts who shared their insights on sales strategy, winning the right kind of business, team structure and focus, and what sales leaders need to do to develop high-performing, best-in-class sales teams.
The panel consisted of: Fergus Gregory, director, Collingwood Advisory Dan Loosemore, chief operating officer, Data Centre Dynamics, and Madeleine Cole, joint MD of Venture Business Ltd/Joint MD of Flexpo Ltd.
On the subject of people development, Still said: “At Venture we make sure we have the right resource, then it’s about guiding them and supporting and developing them. But not in a micro management kind of way. We match the right resource, we have clear KPIs and I think they feel happy to be part of a team.”
