Katie Plowright, director at Selling Savvy, hosted a session on the Sales Excellence Theatre at International Confex 2021 which explored how to improve business proposals.
According to Plowright, the most effective way for business owners to prove to clients that they are their best option is to send considered proposals bespoke to clients and their needs.
Plowright said a proposal should sell an experience and be tailored to the clients’ requirements.
She added that they should be concise and to the point, vibrant, and should stand out.
She said the proposals should prove that the business is the best option, prove its value and offer additional products/services that will enhance the event. She also said they should explain how the client can work with them and show that they understand what is most important to the client.
