BVE (Broadcast Video Expo) North is expecting more than 1,000 media professionals for its latest edition, which starts at Manchester Central today (12 November).
Now in its third year at the venue, the two-day event will feature industry-leading exhibitors as well as speakers from BBC North, True North Productions and BBC Scotland.
“We’re really proud to be hosting this event for the third year running,” said Manchester Central chief executive Angie Robinson. “It showcases how Manchester is continuing to develop as an international media hub.”
Visitors will be able to gain free advice on career development from the Skills Zone.
“The calibre of speakers and exhibitors that BVE North has attracted serves to underline Manchester’s growing importance as a broadcasting centre,” said BVE North event director James Rowley-Ashwood. “Visitors to the show will learn global truths and be able to implement them locally as this key region continues to develop.”
Manchester Central will be the new home for the Northern Home Show.
