Aztec, a company specialising in AV at events, has told organisers that they are happy to help tackle the growing number of speaker cancellations by live-streaming talks.
The company has stressed that the cost of streaming live is minimal and can be offset against any flights or accommodation cancelled because of the coronavirus.
The company said: “If any Organisers are at all concerned about speakers being unable to travel due to threat or fear of coronavirus we can still help facilitate their presentations remotely. Not only will this allow them to carry out the same programme but will add an extra layer of confidence from their Speakers and attendees, going above and beyond to deliver a great show under difficult circumstances.”
The web-casting technology they use is able to stream to Facebook, LinkedIn and other social media platforms, enabling the event team to retain and even expand their audiences by eliminating the restrictions of travel, time and expense to access the event.
They add: “Aztec’s focus has always been the confidence of our Organiser clients and the success of their events. With the current uncertainty we aren’t looking to capitalise, all of these solutions can be achieved with minimal cost and we will be offering discounts to ensure these are real, viable options to allow our Organisers’ Sales, Marketing and Operations teams can achieve everything they set out to do.
“Our industry is like a small town and at times like these we must all adopt the motto, ‘If you succeed, we succeed’.”
How it works?
Setting up show-specific communication accounts e.g. Skype or Zoom
Pre-show sound and video tests
Speaker guides for remote presenting and pre-show meetings to answer any questions
Provision of screen-sharing software for Speakers who wish to provide demonstrations
Web Relay hardware paired with stage & audience cameras – enabling the remote speaker to have a visual of the stage and their presentations displayed on the screen
