Aztec, a Chessington-based event management company, has announced that it has expanded its technical team by appointing Fabio Rinaldo as technical project manager.
Rinaldo’s new role will have a particular focus upon delivering virtual events. He brings seven years of experience to the role, and has previously held senior roles with technical production companies in London and has help produce large and complex events.
Aztec’s MD, John Robson, said: “In the last few months the world around us has changed and virtual events are happening every day. As the event industry re-opens, we believe that virtual events will, to some degree, become baked into physical events, meaning that hybrid events will become the norm. Event organisers are acutely aware that simply streaming a live camera feed from an event to YouTube isn’t going to cut it.
“Fabio will play a key role in ensuring that Aztec has the in-house technical production capabilities to deliver live feeds with high production values to the organiser’s platform of choice, whilst at the same time integrating tightly with our production team running the physical event. By doing this the organiser will only have to deal with one production team for both the physical and virtual elements of their event and, of course, will make significant savings in doing so. I’m really looking forward to working with Fabio as we tackle this next phase of the reopening of the events industry.”
