JLLive scale-up sustainability for Global Offshore Wind

RenewableUK, the trade association for UK wind, wave, and tidal power industries, has announced that JLLive will be its latest technical production partner for its offshore wind event, Global Offshore Wind (GOW).

GOW is the UK’s largest offshore wind event offering the opportunity for professionals within the field to network with industry individuals and organisations.

This year’s event will feature debates, panels, and workshops targeted towards achieving a net-zero offshore network by 2050.

Taking place from 29-30 September, the hybrid event will host over 120 exhibitors and 200 speakers with participation from 40 countries. In order to facilitate the 3,000 expected attendees, GOW has enlisted JLLive to use LEDskin® video walls across its two specialist theatres.

JLLive is partnered with beMatrix, a modular frame system with a focus on sustainability. The aluminum frames from beMatrix can be used over 200 times in varying configurations.

Phil McMichael, managing director of JLLive, said: “Bringing our combined expertise to Global Offshore Wind encompasses everything that we all stand for as professionals in the events industry. We’re delighted to be able to amplify the principles of sustainability at this event with the possibilities of our equipment.”
