The AEO has announced the launch of AEO Forums 2020 to improve efficiency and reduce anxiety in the event industry.
The themed event – ‘Work Smarter, Not Harder’ – will help event professionals minimise stress whilst maximising effectiveness by taking a look at their daily pressures, and helping them build resilience to them by rethinking the way they approach them.
CEO at AEO, Chris Skeith, says: “We’re very excited about how our next AEO Forums can help support event professionals in their roles. Our numerous working groups have identified their key challenges and helped craft a multi-stream programme to begin to address these,”
“Just like our members, we’re no strangers to working at pace, and while the industry is an exciting and hugely rewarding place to be, more resource isn’t always a feasible option. We need to take a closer look at how we can work smarter and support our teams in building resilience and fresh approaches.”
The Forums first launched in 2006, and the event’s main goal is to deliver content and education to ‘middle of the building’ event professionals across key functions within organiser businesses.
AEO Forums will take place on 31 January 2020 at BDC London.
