The National Apprenticeship Show will take place at Kent Event Centre on 20-21 March 2018 and the UCAS Exhibition will take place on 30 April 2018.
The National Apprenticeship Show organises events across the country throughout the year. The Kent edition is new for 2018, is expected to attract over 100 exhibitors and 10,000 visitors and will bring together employers, colleges and apprenticeship providers. It is aimed at those wanting to find out more about what apprenticeships can offer.
The UCAS Exhibition, also new for 2018, will host hundreds of university representatives, employers and gap year specialists showcasing opportunities for school leavers. The event will feature inspirational talks, topical seminars, application process advice and interactive stands. Current students will also be on hand to discuss what it’s really like to study a certain subject.
The National Apprenticeship Show’s event director Simon Bennie commented: “We are really excited about our national event taking place for the first time in Kent. To enable our exhibitors to showcase a variety of apprenticeships available, we needed a versatile venue that is positioned centrally in Kent. The great facilities and practical parking space for the school coaches and cars we are expecting within close proximity, means it simply doesn’t matter what time of year we hold our Apprenticeship Show. We know this venue is perfect for our requirements and plays perfect home to our interactive and hands-on experiential show.”
Kent Event Centre’s deputy event centre manager, Ellie Nicholl, added: “We are excited to welcome two great new educational exhibitions to the venue. The team at Kent Event Centre is extremely passionate about supporting young people embarking on their careers, so much so that we have our own scholarship scheme for Kent based students studying for a degree course in the land-based sector covering topics such as agriculture, horticulture, veterinary and environment. We wish the organisers every success in their upcoming events.”
