Toy Fair 2018 is almost sold out nearly six months in advance of the show opening on 23 January. The event is deemed the UK’s largest toy, game and hobby trade exhibition in London. It’s organised by the British Toy and Hobby Association (BTHA).
The show is set to welcome back 75 per cent of exhibitors across the toy, hobby and game sector. The 2017 event attracted more than 260 companies, ranging from large established brands to smaller start-up companies, all looking to showcase their innovations.
Returnees from Toy Fair 2017 include Flair Leisure Products, Playmobil, Spin Master, Character Options, Vivid, and Orchard Toys to name but a few.
Toy Fair 2018 will feature once again its Greenhouse Area. This is a dedicated space helping small and start-up companies break into the industry.
“This area has been extended by 80 square metres to accommodate the demand for the area and to support the ever-growing talent in the industry”, the organiser said.
The expansion equates to 16 more stands, which will help the show to nurture and support smaller companies looking to make their mark in the toy industry.
The Greenhouse will welcome first-time exhibitors to the show including Forever Collectibles, Rainbow Eco Products, Added Smile and Bildy.
Covering 22,000 square metre of gross space across the Grand, West, Upper West Hall and Gallery. The Toy Fair 2018 will see the launch of thousands of brand new toy lines from more than 260 exhibition companies.
“Toy Fair 2018 is the perfect event to showcase the creativity, ingenuity, and passion of the UK toy industry,” said Majen Immink, director of fairs and special events at BTHA.
“Every year we see fantastic toys from all different types of businesses, from start-ups to larger international companies. We’re thrilled to have so many returning to exhibit again, including 75 per cent of those from last year, as well as new faces joining us for the first time,” Immink concluded.
The 65th annual Toy Fair will take place from 23-25 January 2018 at Olympia London.
