£30,000-32,000 + commission

A market leading exhibitions and conference organiser, based in the heart of London, is seeking an experienced Sponsorship Manager with a minimum of four years event sponsorship sales experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating the sponsorship sales strategy of the project
  • Selling to existing sponsors
  • Working on new business
  • Presentations over the phone and face to face
  • Developing strategies to meet the targets
  • Researching new leads to explore
  • Prospecting new opportunities and account management
  • Attending industry events throughout the year
  • Constantly demonstrate high levels of customer service to new and existing customers
  • Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Providing organisational support on site throughout the event
  • Following weekly and monthly KPIs
  • Updating accounts on CRM.

The candidate should:

  • Be a natural communicator
  • Be able to create sponsorship sales strategies
  • Be experienced in account management
  • Be competent with email, office, general IT systems and CRM systems
  • Be ambitious, positive and self-motivated
  • Be able to work to targets
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Enjoy working in a fun, fast environment.
