Event production specialist Smyle has acquired event and communications agency Pumphouse Productions.
Pumphouse Productions is a £2m turnover business and will remain as an independent company following the deal.
Pumphouse founder and MD Nick Eve and his core team will continue to manage and provide event services for its clients.
Hertfordshire-based Smyle said the new partnership will allow Pumphouse to evolve its customer relationships with the additional support of Smyle’s creative, technical, video and design services, as well as the agency’s experience across global B2B and B2C projects.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for both companies; our cultural and geographical fit is excellent,” said Eve. “We both stand for creativity, long term client relationships, high standards and industry leading production values.
Together, our offering will be greatly enhanced by utilising the combined resources and experience of both partners.”
Smyle MD Rick Stainton (pictured) added: “This acquisition is consistent with Smyle Group’s growth mission to develop its existing client relationships and foster new ones as part of its strategy for growth over the next three years.
“Our vision for how live experiences and branded media content can effect real change for a business will be strengthened by Pumphouse’s expertise in internal communications and content support.”
