Publishing house Datateam Business Media is launching Sensing Technology 2010, a dedicated sensors exhibition.
The exhibition will not only promote current trends and products, but also focus on the future of sensor technology.
“We feel most technology exhibitions only pay lip service to the sensor side of the industry,” Datateam’s group development director, Andrew Castle tells EN. “It’s an important part of the industry that deserves its own event, hence the upcoming exhibition in September. We have already had 30 companies reserve stand space.”
Castle says the exchange of knowledge will be central to the show. Two ‘Knowledge Transfer’ suites are planned to host debates and showcase new products to visitors and exhibitors.
“We want to discuss the future, not just the present. The suites will provide a real look into new developments and innovation,” he adds.
Sensing Technology 2010 will take place on 28 and 29 September at the Birmingham NEC.
