Scotland’s Trade Fair Autumn has added an extra day and 10 per cent more stands to its show later this year.
The event, which takes place from 23 to 25 September at the SECC in Glasgow, is organised by Springboard Events and will for the first time feature a Launch Gallery area for 12 innovative companies under two years old.
“Demand from exhibitors and retailers alike for a longer and slightly larger show has meant we have expanded to three days and more stands for 2012,” said Springboard Events MD Mark Saunders.
“The Autumn Show is an exciting mix of companies from Scotland and beyond and it is very encouraging to see so many new exhibitors wanting to be part of the show.”
New to the show are exhibitors such as Turtle Bags eco-friendly shopping bags, Spotted Sparrow vintage style cards and stationery, Silver Meadows bespoke jewellery, Hipster Spinster designer prints and Jan Beadle contemporary woven textiles.
The trade fair reported last year that it had battled against a tough retail climate.
