The Event Supplier and Services Association has announced that its charity event In the Rough, generated in excess of £6,000 in 2017. The sum will be divided equally between Macmillan Cancer Care and Sparks, the childrens’ medical charity.

Andrew Harrison, ESSA director commented: “I’m thrilled to be able to announce that In the Rough 2017 had raised over six thousand pounds for our two adopted charities, Macmillan Cancer Care and Sparks.

“It’s always worthwhile to take a moment whilst we are enjoying the sunshine and fun, to remember that we are also raising money to help these organisations provide much-needed support and assistance to cancer patients and vital research into childhood illnesses.”

In the Rough 2018 will be held at The Celtic Manor Resort, South Wales on 19 July 2018. “We will be distributing the funds to both charities before the end of the year and look forward to raising more in 2018,” Harrison concluded.
