Pub15, the first trade show designed exclusively for the UK pub industry, will launch in early 2015, writes Emma Hudson.
More than 150 suppliers and industry professionals will gather at Olympia London for two days on 18-19 February.
Show organiser SME London – producer of The Independent Hotel Show, Art 14, Vodafone London Fashion Weekend and Feast – hope to inspire, inform and connect suppliers, operators, owners and tastemakers.
A range of sectors will be featured, including Design & Interiors, Premium Spirits & Wine, Craft Brewers & Beer, Technology, Food & Drink, Bar & Kitchen, Tableware, Marketing & Brand Awareness, Staff Recruitment and Training, and Legal & Finance.
Free-to-attend business advice sessions, one-to-one workshops and a thought leadership seminar programme will also take place, led by industry experts and highlighting best practice methods, key industry trends and commercial opportunities.
“The UK pub industry is thriving,” said Tim Etchells, chief executive of SME London. “It employs over one million people and we are entering the new future of pubs. A highly innovative sector, UK pubs effectively invented the “gastro pub” and are continuing to innovate and reintroduce the role of the pub as a vital community hub.”
Pub15 is supported by The British Institute of Inn-keeping and Sawday’s Pubs & Inns of England and Wales.
Registration for Pub15 opens in October 2014.
