PATS Telford has reported positive feedback from both visitors and exhibitors attending this year’s show. The organiser said that more than 2,000 came to the pet trade show and announced that visitors agreed that it has been one of the best shows yet.
Organiser Annie Foord commented: “We love running this show for the pet industry so it’s fantastic to hear that exhibitors and visitors have experienced a brilliant event again this year. It’s great to hear so many positive comments about the exhibition.”
The event featured hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of products offering retailers from the UK and overseas the opportunity to do business with the whole pet trade under one roof. More than 300 brands showcased their latest launches.
Rachael Franks of professional dog grooming firm Priory Paws commented: “It has been a brilliant show, the best ever. It’s great to see so many new companies. I will definitely be returning next year.”
This year’s pet trade show also featured grooming demonstrations and seminars on how retailers can get the best out of their business.
“There has been a buzz in the exhibition hall from start to finish. We literally haven’t stopped speaking to visitors to our stand the whole time,” said Jo Amit, of dog grooming products HOWND.
PATS Telford included a Meet the Buyer event in the Buyers Centre, which saw buyers from Switzerland, Spain, Slovakia, Sweden, Finland and the Netherlands have meetings with 26 UK manufacturers.
“The event was run in association with PetQuip, and commercial manager Charlie Parker said the event had been a success,” the organsier said in a statement.
Kent-based PATS, the show organiser, is an experienced pet and aquatics trade show specialist with more than 70 years of combined experience running trade shows. EN understands the company also organises other pet trade show each year in Sandown.
