Brand Licensing Europe (BLE) will be celebrating its 15th year as it returns to Olympia on 15-17 October for what the organiser claims is its biggest ever show.
The pan-European event is expecting to surpass the 2012 record visitor number total of 9,108, audited by the AEO, up 23 per cent from 2011.
The organiser, Advanstar claims the new floor plan will enable visitors to navigate the range of brands more easily than ever before, as well as offering a fresh new look and feel to the show.
The show will be divided into three distinct areas, reflecting key sections of the licensing industry, including Brands; Art, Design & Image and Character & Entertainment. It will also feature the introduction of the Brands Bar and Meeting Place, the Brand Experience Theatre and a new and improved Art & Design Café for the consumer brands. This year’s Licensing Academy Programme will feature keynote speakers including Jami Laes from EVP Gaming and Naz Cuevas from SVP Licensing.
The organiser said the 2012 show saw a record 6,875 retailers, licensees and sales promotion professionals, as well as 284 exhibitors. “2013 promises to be even bigger and better, with confirmed new exhibitors including Playboy Enterprises International, Automobili Lamborghini and Major League Baseball,” said a spokesman from the organiser.
Contractor Melville has been appointed on a three-year contract to supply all services to the show.
