Independent event services and support operator, Showlite, has announced a series of senior additions to its management team alongside the opening of a new sales and operations office in London.
Paul Slaney, Showlite managing director, said: “We’re moving quickly to capitalise on enquiries from organisers based in the UK and Europe which have already resulted in substantial business wins.
“New colleagues are still joining the team, many of whom I have worked with at various points in my exhibition industry career. This helps us to maintain the company’s traditional ‘family values’ that have played such a huge part in the development of the business since its launch by our now chairman, Paul Wicks, in 1992.”
Already operational, the new exhibitor sales facility is managed by head of electrical sales, Roger Cogan (pictured) who joined Showlite from Freeman UK in August this year, to service recent contract wins and develop this aspect of the business for the future.
The firm said its Andover headquarters continues its focus on exhibitor sales and liaison, business support and accounts. Sales director, Anthony Smith heads up the sales, administration and personnel teams based in Hampshire.
“We are looking forward to announcing the new team structure in due course. Our current clients can rest assured that our core values of transparency and trust, combined with good old fashioned service plus our ‘can do, will do’ attitude, remain very much at the forefront of how we operate,” Slaney added.
“Right now we are entering a significant autumn and winter show season and the most intensive and exciting delivery phase in the company’s history.”
