A team of consultants has joined forces to launch Plural Strategy Group, a sector-focused firm specialising in events and media.
Based in London, Plural deploys teams worldwide to support organisers with growth strategy, pricing, commercial due diligence (for launch, marketentry and acquisitions), digital strategy, and analytics.
“This is a highly ambitious venture, and I am delighted to have been invited to join such a strong and respected team,” said Jonny Baynes, head of events at Plural (pictured).
“It is clear that the industry is changing at a faster rate than ever, creating a need for robust analytics and structured problem-solving as the sector embraces the digital era.”
According to the firm, Plural is launched to meet the growing demand for structured, data-driven advice in the events industry.
The business is led by Jim Easton, CEO, joined by two founding partners, Jonny Baynes and Phil Stone.
Plural’s team have supported clients on more than 50 acquisitions worldwide over the past fifteen years, including Nielsen Expositions (Emerald), Clarion Events, Informa Canada and Reed Alcantara.
