N200, a GES Global Company is continuing its support for education with a new university partnership to support Event Management Degree and Master’s Degree courses.
Following the firm’s recent partnership renewal with the AEO, and support of the EN 30 Under Thirty campaign, N200 has joined forces with Coventry University, where one N200 | GES training module will be phased into the event management curriculum on each year of the respective courses.
Each training module will comprise a formal learning structure combined with workplace opportunities, event experience and industry best practice.
Bart van Bijnen, N200 | GES managing director said: “This is a unique opportunity to work alongside the future of the event industry. Not only will students benefit from real exposure to our industry during their studies, but the industry will benefit from graduates with first-hand, inside knowledge of events.”
Ian Webster, senior lecturer and creator of the Event Management degree programmes at Coventry University, said the university is constantly looking at ways to improve both the experience and employability potential for students.
“This partnership enables us to engage directly with the event industry on a local, national and global scale and expand our international partner networks,” Webster said.
Jeffrey Lee, COO at N200 | GES, said: “We are delighted to create a formal partnership with Coventry University and are excited at the opportunity to propose a full educational partnership supporting its students studying on the event management degree programmes.”
Lauren Keeney, N200 | GES client manager, was successfully chosen for the inaugural year of the EN 30 Under Thirty initiative.
