IET Venues has appointed Amy Wilson as marketing campaign manager for its sites in London, Birmingham and Glasgow. She has worked for well-known brands including the East Anglian Air Ambulance and Alzheimer’s Research UK, in a variety of roles including fundraising and marketing.
Wilson will be responsible for developing and implementing venue marketing campaigns to the conference, event and wedding markets, as well as to internal customers.
Sean Green has recently joined the Showlite team as CAD Designer, working within the floorplan design team. His professional background span 16 years’s experiences at Freeman, So Group and Stanco on a broad range of events for organisers including Clarion, Ocean Media and Upper Street Events.
Crystal Interactive Meetings
Four new recruits at Crystal include Jordan Payne and Scott Bellis as event technology specialists (ETS), Matt White as apps project coordinator and Zoë Smith as project coordinator.

This month Corporate Events has welcomed events executive Laura Bowles to its Wiltshire-based team.
Bowles has come from Capita Travel & Events and has worked on conferences for Virgin Media and EE, and promotional work for Pizza Express, Heineken, The Grand Prix and Jamie Oliver’s ‘Feastival’.

99 City Road Conference Centre has expanded its team with the appointment of a new assistant manager, events co-ordinator and events assistant.
Charlotte Kain has been promoted to assistant manager, Charlotte Reynolds has been appointed as Events Co-ordinator, and Sylwia Szpyra is stepping into the events assistant role.
Newbury Racecourse has strengthened its team with the appointment of Sarah Richardson, a recent graduate from Liverpool John Moore’s University, as marketing assistant following the success of her internship at the venue.
Jockey Club Venues London has appointed Stephanie Grove as regional business development executive – Kempton Park Racecourse. Stephanie joins the group from her role as conference and events manager at Chessington World of Adventures Resort where she worked for over eight years.
Freeman EMEA has recently made a number of changes to its client solutions team, the area of the business responsible for partnering with and supporting clients throughout the pre, during and post-event stages. This has seen the promotion of six team members and the creation of two new roles.
Adam Shepherd, Karen Barnard, Karen Britton and Richard Hobbs have been promoted to client solutions managers, and each now manage their own dedicated teams.
Additionally, Louis Moorcraft, who features in this year’s EN 30 Under Thirty, has been promoted to the role of senior client solutionist. Anna Golubeva now takes on the role of client solutionist.
