Organiser Media 10 has been placed at No 64 in the 19th annual Sunday Times BDO Profit Track 100, ranking Britain’s private companies with the fastest-growing profits.
The annual Sunday Times BDO Profit Track 100 is the definitive league table of Britain’s private companies with the fastest-growing profits, measured over their latest three years of accounts.
The inclusion in the Profit Track 100 is a huge accolade for the media company who have seen profits soar by 63 per cent year-on-year to reach £4.3m as a result of a successful year of events, publications and digital products in the UK, China and South Africa, where Media 10 has offices.
The ranking places Media 10 as the leading Essex-based business on the list and it is also the only exhibition organiser to make the Profit Track 100.
Lee Newton (pictured), CEO of Media 10, commented: “This is a fantastic achievement for everyone involved at Media 10 and all the staff should be rightly proud. We are a relatively young business; operate in some dynamic, competitive markets so to be the top-ranked events organiser and the highest placed Essex-based company in the Profit Track 100 gives us all immense pride.”
The news of the inclusion in the Sunday Times BDO Profit Track 100 comes in the same week that Media 10 announced the acquisition Pro Publishing Media & Events Ltd, the Colchester-based publishing company, furthering re-enforcing its strength in the kitchen and bathrooms sector.
“It’s been a fantastic week for the business, not only have we been recognised for the superb results the company has posted but we have strengthened our product base with the acquisition of Pro Publishing Media,” continued Newton. “It really is a boom time for the business at the moment”
