Harry Potter and Horns star Daniel Radcliffe and the cast of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers are among the lineup of special guests at MCM London Comic Con which starts on 24 October.
Held at Excel London, organiser MCM Expo is expecting 115,000 movie, videogame, sci-fi, anime, cosplay and comics fans, up from the record-breaking 100,000 who attended in May this year.
The show runs until 26 October.
“MCM London Comic Con is coming up fast and we are excited at the rate of growth – 12,000sqm additional space, more exhibitors and more than a 30 per cent increase in advance sales,” Bryan Cooney, MCM Expo co-organiser told EN.
“One thing’s for sure; it’s going to be a wild ride for organisers, exhibitors and visitors alike over the three days at Excel.”
Highlights of the event will include Vidfest UK, Pop Asia, Comic Village, MCM eSports, MCM Theatre, dealer stalls and celebrity appearances.
MCM Expo has continued its record year with the second edition of MCM Scotland Comic Con on 6-7 September. More than 26,000 visitors enjoyed a weekend of “geeky goodness” at Glasgow’s SECC, up from 20,000 at the inaugural show in 2013.
