Step Exhibitions has announced this year’s Making Cosmetics show is relocating to the Ricoh Arena for the first time on 25-26 March.
Co-organised by Dweck Data, consultants on natural products to the cosmetic, toiletry and pharmaceutical industry, the beauty and cosmetics show will move from the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham, “to accommodate its growth”.
Kate Neilson-Garrard, event manager for Making Cosmetics said: “Making Cosmetics is designed to cover a wide range of subjects in the personal care market from the initial concept to consumers buying the products.
“Moving to the Ricoh Arena means we can provide a bigger show in a central location with great facilities to host a show for brand owners, manufacturers and specialists involved in every stage of personal care products.
“There will be around 90 exhibitors providing expert advice, products, equipment and services so it is a great opportunity for those involved in the sector to see items which are new, innovative, proven, expert and essential for their customers.”
The organiser said there will be four rooms running simultaneously offering a total of 73 seminars and two workshops.
Last year 80 companies showcased toiletries, cosmetics, hair and skin care products at the show.
Ricoh Arena recently hosted an evening of burlesque dancers, a comedian and learning the art of gaming for the events industry.
