Show organiser and charity Disabled Living is expecting more than 165 exhibitors at its exhibition dedicated to children and young adults with disabilities on 21 November.
The 2013 edition of Kidz Up North will be held at EventCity for the first time, moving from its home of 13 years, the Reebok Stadium in Bolton.
“The new location offers much more space and excellent accessibility with the venue being built all on one level,” said Carmel Hourigan, administration and exhibitions manager at Disabled Living.
The venue has installed a bespoke Changing Places toilet, providing an easier ‘gold standard’ facility for disabled people and carers to use.
“The exhibition offers our visitors the perfect opportunity to view the launch of new and existing equipment and products, keep up to date with practice developments and the opportunity to network with key influencers and much more,” added Hourigan.
This year, Kidz up North welcomes more than 20 new exhibitors including charities Disabled Motoring, Kids, Phab, and Pure Innovations.
The show will feature a series of seminars for parents and professionals with topics including parental experiences, sleep, continence, moving and handling, transition and legal advice.
The organiser also holds Kidz exhibitions in Coventry, Reading and Scotland.
