The Event Supplier and Services Association (ESSA) has elected Perton Signs director Andrew Kennedy to the position of vice-chair following a recent board meeting.
Kennedy, who has nearly three decades of experience in the industry, will work alongside ESSA and GES chairman EMEA Nick Marshall and ESSA director Chris Skeith.
“I am delighted to be able to take up the position of vice-chair of ESSA,” said Kennedy. “Perton Signs is approaching 150 years of trading and as the first member of both ESSA and its predecessor BECA, I felt that the time was right to take on this role. I am looking forward to working with Nick and Chris in the coming months.”
The ESSA chair serves a two-year term and is succeeded by the vice-chair.
Nick Marshall was appointed new ESSA chair at the turn of the year.
“I am delighted to have Andrew working as vice-chair, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the board and he will be a great ambassador for the association,” said Marshall.
