UBM Live has added its global Interop brand to Internet World taking place at Excel London in June 2014.
Interop London will join the 28-year-old flagship Las Vegas event, the more recent launches in Mumbai and Tokyo, as well as the New York show, which took place in September reporting 15 per cent visitor growth compared to the 2012 edition.
The show stand will take the form of an IT zone within Internet World and will include a dedicated Interop theatre delivering professional education surrounding issues facing businesses and professionals including network infrastructure, enterprise mobility, cloud computing, storage and security.
“Interop is one of UBM’s leading global event brands and we’re delighted to incorporate it into Internet World 2014,” said Internet World event manager Nathalie Davies.
Internet World, including The Big Data Show and Interop London, will also be part of London Technology Week, an initiative run with London & Partners which will bring together numerous tech focused events in the UK’s capital on 16-20 June.
“Launching Interop London alongside other core UBM brands is a natural extension of our global IT footprint,” said Interop general manager Jennifer Jessup. “The value proposition of London Technology Week helps us enhance the Interop offerings to the global IT market.”
Interop London will also take place alongside UBM’s security event, IFSEC International.
