UK design show, designjunction, has announced a new partnership with event and publishing group Informa to assist with the global expansion of the show.
The Informa Global Exhibitions Division will support the expansion of designjunction into new territories in 2015 and 2016. The show already has a presence in London, Milan and New York.

Deborah Spencer will continue in her role as event director and part owner of designjunction with the full backing and support of Informa.
To support the expansion, designjunction has appointed Will Sorrell to head up the international portfolio of shows. He joins with 10 years of design industry experience.
“This is an exciting time to be joining designjunction,” said Sorrell. “I have always been an admirer of designjunction and see great opportunities in the future. The flagship show in London continues to go from strength to strength, with its fifth edition taking place in 2015, while there are ambitious plans for expansion over the next few years.”
Michael Sodeau will also continue in his role as creative director. “designjunction is now an established and highly respected design show created by the industry for the industry. I’m proud to be associated with it,” said Sodeau.
Designjunction joins Informa’s growing portfolio of design shows including IDS Toronto, IDS West (Vancouver), Sao Paulo Design Week alongside a host of leading art shows such as Art Toronto, The Artist Project and One of a Kind.
