FaceTime, working in partnership with The NEC and contractor Global Experience Specialists (GES), is launching a new event to help exhibitors.
The Exhibitor Masterclass at The NEC on 4 September, will feature help on exhibition performance from disciplines such as digital and data, human behaviour, sensory marketing and sales psychology.
Exhibitors at the Association of Event Organisers (AEO) member shows are able to receive a 100 per cent discount from their show organisers.
“We’re really excited about the Masterclass series,” said AEO deputy director Jim Curry. “It not only delivers real insight for exhibitors but delivers real value for those investing their money in the exhibitions organised by AEO members as they seek to maximise a return on their stands.
“We’ve developed a really strong schedule for attendees to inspire performance and the collaborative approach from The NEC and GES is a credit to the exhibition industry.”
Outgoing NEC sales director Stephen Richards said the Exhibitor Masterclass is a massive initiative for the venue.
“We’ve invested heavily in the day, and we want to grow the event to become an annual focal point for the industry,” he said.
“It’s also another positive step as we aim to add value to what we offer our exhibition organisers and their exhibitors. We’re always looking to improve, and if we can help our organisers keep their exhibitors that’s great, but if we can help them attract new exhibitors who in turn benefit from working with The NEC, that’s even better.”
GES executive chairman Nick Marshall said the firm was proud to get behind the event.
“It’s important that we, as an industry, help exhibitors maximise their return from exhibiting and that we share the knowledge we have built up over the years,” he said.
“Successful exhibitions benefit everyone, so being at the forefront of an event like this is a real privilege.”
The NEC Group recently signed an exclusive deal with Virgin Trains.
