IMEX Group chairman Ray Bloom has celebrated “the most creative and spectacular IMEX yet” as the 2018 Frankfurt event welcomed almost 9,000 hosted buyers and visitors. 68,000 appointments were made at the show, which provided new opportunities for buyers to ‘test drive’ technology products and explore the new Tech Cafe.
New initiatives for 2018 began on ‘EduMonday’ when the show, which took place on 15-17 May, launched Rising Talent, She Means Business and the Agency Directors Forum.
The show also signed the Ascent CEO Promise, which asked CEOs to commit to ’embracing a culture of inclusiveness in their organisations and events and is also supporting the industry coalition against sexual harassment.’
Bloom concluded: “The creative and experiential element of the show has gone so much further than we would have imagined a year ago.
“The new ideas, creativity, new experiences and events combined with all the business that has been done have made this a remarkable week for IMEX and this industry.”
