Everest Home Improvements has become the headline sponsor of Media 10’s 2012 Ideal Home Show.
The 104th edition of the event returns to London’s Earls Court this spring and will have more than 600 exhibitors. It will be titled The Ideal Home Show, Sponsored by Everest, and is Media 10’s third year as exhibition owner after acquiring the event in September 2009 from original owners, DMG World Media.
The show runs for 17 days from 16 March to 1 April.
Last year’s show saw over 270,000 visitors at Earls Court and featured a visit from HRH The Prince of Wales.
“The Ideal Home Show has been inspiring homeowners for generations and is a key date in the design and home improvements calendar,” said Everest marketing director Duncan Bland.
“Like the Ideal Home Show, Everest is proud of its heritage and the role it plays in helping people to transform their homes. We’re very excited about the 2012 show, which is set to be the best yet.”
Media 10 sales director Mike Dynan said the show is a British institution.
“People come to the show seeking innovation and inspiration,” he said. “Our challenge this year is to maintain, if not exceed, last year’s figures, especially given the current economic climate.”
Celebrities at the show include TV presenter and architect George Clarke, gadget expert Suzi Perry, food critic Gregg Wallace, interiors expert Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, TV gardener Alan Titchmarsh and presenter Lorraine Kelly.
