The East of England Arena and Events Centre (EEAEC) has announced the appointment of Hawk Audio Visual as its principal provider of AV, technical and staging services, in an ongoing agreement designed to increase the scale and scope of event support services on offer at the venue.
“We’ve worked extensively with Hawk in the past,” explained Jason Lunn (pictured below), general manager at East of England Arena. “When they have provided services to our clients – and the team has repeatedly demonstrated what they can achieve with their combination of imagination and technical excellence. Our clients have always been impressed with Hawk’s work and customer service, so it made perfect sense for us to try and integrate Hawk more deeply into our planning and development processes.”
Hawk will provide East of England Arena and its clients AV and staging support for a whole range of events including conferences, exhibitions, awards and entertainments. In addition the company will be available to advise and deliver on live streaming, interactive voting and other event technologies.
Lunn continued: “With Hawk as an official supplier to events at the Arena, our clients will be able to specify bespoke AV and staging packages from a provider that knows and understands the whole venue.”
Marcus Lawday, Hawk AV’s production director, concluded: “We have a great working relationship with the East of England Arena’s events team already, bringing events together for clients like Anglian Water and Thomas Cook. This agreement will mean a complete continuity of service for the Arena’s customers when they come to specify their AV and staging requirements, and by joining event planning at an earlier stage, Hawk can deliver better services with greater efficiency.”
