More than 100 global buyers from across Europe and North America experienced the best of Britain’s events industry, during VisitBritain’s MeetGB event held in London last week.
The two-day event showcased why the UK should be the destination of choice for conferences, meetings and incentives. It saw more than 6,700 one-to-one business meetings take place between UK conference product suppliers and international event planners.
Ahead of the event, the global buyers attended educational visits across the UK and experienced first-hand the variety of conference and event facilities, with destinations showcasing their meetings and incentives experiences, infrastructure and accessibility. From Aberdeen to Brighton, the buyers saw the best Britain has to offer in venues, food, hotels and attractions and more.
