Global Experience Specialists (GES) has appointed Nick Humphrey to the position of commercial director for its UK operations, based at the company’s Excel London offices.
Humphrey will be responsible for the delivery of all exhibitions, live events and congresses for GES clients. He joins from his position as portfolio director for The Freeman Company (UK), where he began as an assistant show manager 13 years ago.
In that time, he managed the largest of the company’s clients and was responsible for deploying new technology to support clients within his portfolio.

As the market leader, we deliver the complete suite of service lines to clients in the three key sectors of the business, exhibitions, live events and congresses. My team and I will ensure GES provides an end-to-end service, delivered to the very highest standards,” said Humphrey.
“To ensure that GES is delivering a complete package of the highest quality to both the organisers and their customers, we will be taking a comprehensive look at the range of services we deliver and identifying areas where we could provide additional services,” concluded Humphrey.
Last year, GES announced contract wins worth £35m.
