Scoop International, a show for contemporary designer fashion, attracted some of the industry’s leading names recently.
Premium retailers including Harrods, Matches, Browns, Fenwick, Fortnum and Mason, Liberty, House of Fraser, Urban Outfitters and Harvey Nichols, Net-A-Porter were at the Saatchi Gallery from 12 to 14 February to view more than 180 womenswear collections.
The show does not reveal its visitor figures, but claimed it had a record number of attendees.
“To see the visitor attendance double this season and such an increase in exhibitors at Scoop, quite honestly proves how important this show now is within the international fashion calendar,” said Scoop founder Karen Radley.
“The success of this season’s edition has established Scoop as a key buying destination for the UK’s leading retail stores and a key sourcing ground for directional and contemporary womenswear apparel labels.”
The spring/summer 2013 edition of Scoop will take place at the Saatchi Gallery on 8-10 July to avoid clashing with the Olympics.
