As registration for the 2019 event opens, creative craft industry trade event CHSI Stitches has announced it will be launching a new meeting planner tool to help visitors and exhibitors to connect during the event.
The smart tool will allow pre-registered visitors to request and schedule meetings with exhibitors based on mutual interests. Exhibitors are given the opportunity to select product categories most aligned to their business when they book their space at the show. Similarly, when visitors register they can select the product categories they are most interested in. A ‘match’ is then made and both visitors and exhibitors can request meetings. The tool is an opt in system, which will launch six weeks before the show.
Jordana Johnson, marketing manager at ICHF Events has worked in partnership with event registration providers, LiveBuzz to develop the tool and commented: “The show attracts thousands of visitors each year and we felt there was an opportunity here to use technology to connect people in advance of the show, saving time and creating efficiencies during the days of the show. We’re really excited to be launching this brand-new meetings tool at our 2019 event. For us it was essential that the tool allows people to connect based on mutual business interests so that meaningful and productive meetings can take place.
