Former Fulham, Real Sociedad and Coventry City manager Chris Coleman will run a series of seminars at this year’s Grass Roots Football Show.
Coleman will give a series of coaching masterclasses and sessions at the three-day event at The NEC in Birmingham from 3-5 June.
“Everyone in the professional game owes a great debt to the thousands of coaches who commit so much time and energy at grass roots level,” Coleman said. “This show offers the opportunity for those people to be afforded recognition and an opportunity to meet up with those in the professional game.”
Forty-year old Coleman is an A-class coaching badge holder and made his career off the back of a three-year coaching term at Fulham. He also played 478 games with Swansea, Crystal Palace, Blackburn Rovers and Fulham.
Event organiser Joanna Burns said Coleman’s reputation as a coach, along with his high-profile TV work, demonstrated his strong potential as an events speaker.
VCM Events sold the Grass Roots Football Show to a consortium of football consultants in December for an undisclosed sum.
