RIBA Venues, the events arm of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) has announced the appointment of Christine Rupprecht as venue manager.
Rupprecht (pictured) joins the company based at 66 Portland Place in London, after more than seven years experience working in hotels and venues in event operations, sales and planning.
She has previously held roles working for Imperial College London, Bespoke Events by Harrods and Rhubarb at the Royal Albert Hall, and has worked on events including the Silverstone Formula 1 and the Global Champions Tour at the Olympic Park.
RIBA Venues’ head of venues Stephanie Ellrott said: “We are delighted to have Christine on board to look after the account and diary management and to be responsible for a team of four. She will add a wow to the customer experience at RIBA Venues and ensure that long-lasting and strong relationships are built with our clients.”
On her new role, Rupprecht said: “My main goals are to make RIBA Venues the destination in London for large conferences, events and social gatherings and to deliver an outstanding customer experience by continuously analysing and improving our standards.”
