Center Parcs is celebrating a record year for corporate events across its UK venues; Sherwood Forest, Elveden Forest (pictured), Longleat Forest and Woburn Forest, with a 3.7 per cent increase in the number of events held across the five sites in 2017/18.
The largest percentage increases for the group in the latest figures were in the number of delegates welcomed by Center Parcs which saw a 204 per cent increase compared to the previous year, alongside a 112.7 per cent increase in repeat bookings, with 168 companies choosing to return for further events.
Liz Pilling, commercial manager at Center Parcs, commented: “We are delighted with the latest sales figures which show we have had our best ever financial year for conferences and events. Center Parcs offers a refreshing and unique alternative to the conference, meetings and events market and we are continually innovating our spaces to suit client demand. The figures show we are attracting larger events with more delegates and many of our clients are choosing to return for further events, showing the success of our offering – these figures are certainly something to celebrate.”
Center Parcs attracts a variety of organisations from a range of sectors including automotive, finance, retail, IT & communications, government, pharmaceutical, private (schools/colleges) and associations. Longstanding clients include PWC, The Body Shop, Hitachi, Virgin, Mercedes Benz and The Theo Paphitis Retail Group to name but a few.
