Bridal Expo brand Bridelux returned to the Lindley Hall this month showcasing some of the most luxurious suppliers the wedding market has to offer.
Despite the adverse weather conditions, the exhibition was attended by a greater number of quality buyers, with each business reporting an increased level of enquiries compared to last year.
Venue sales manager, Lorraine Thorne said: “Bridelux is one of those fabulous exhibitions where you can achieve anything you want for your wedding. The show looked and felt luxurious and we were able to amplify that with our in-house lighting systems and increased WiFi capacity, giving the best the Lindley Hall has to offer.”
This year, the exhibition had a wider variety of destinations for brides to choose from, expanding on the success of last year with Portugal, Greece and Italy reporting to be the most popular destination enquiries.
On top of the most popular countries, Iceland, Morocco, India and the Caribbean were represented. There was also an Expert’s Lounge where brides could listen to planners explaining the benefits of individual destinations and fire off questions. The dessert station was a highly popular choice, with caterers showing off their latest creations.
Charmi Patel, sales manager Bridelux said: “In spite of the weather, it didn’t deter brides from attending to take advantage of the quality of exhibitors we had. That shows true British grit! Our new features were gladly received, and everyone had a very positive outcome.”
