Organiser i2i Events is expecting to attract more than 32,000 visitors ahead of this year’s Autumn Fair International at The NEC.
The show will take place on 1-4 September, and expects to surpass last year’s rise in high spend buyers of 30,945 (ABC audited), 1,500 exhibitors and 60,000 product launches.
According to research conducted by i2i Events, retailers look to begin their Christmas buying three to six months in advance, and increasing numbers need suppliers that hold stock for immediate delivery. Therefore the show aims to help those who wish to place orders for either immediate delivery or delivery within two months.
The show will feature nine different product categories including gifts, contemporary gift and home, greetings and gift, children’s gifts, toys and gadgets, hobby, arts and crafts, kitchen, dining and housewares, home interiors and furniture, fashion jewellery and accessories and volume gift and home.
Returning to the show will be the New Product Showcase and product trails, featuring products for export, ethical products, retail services, licensed products and products that are designed in Britain. New to the show is the Fairtrade product trail and Lighting trail.
Also launching at Autumn Fair International for the first time this year is the Design Lab, displaying the works of 14 designers.
The Spring Fair added to the strong 2013 start for i2i Events, attracting 68,116 visitors (ABC audited), up six per cent from the previous show.
