A brand new medical event and addition to the Clarion Events portfolio, Austere Medical Environments (AME), was held at Olympia London earlier this month.
The event, which focused on the delivery of care in challenging and remote environments, was held on 7-8 October, bringing together the Trauma Innovation conference and the Institute of Remote Health Care’s (IRHC) annual conference. Clarion Events hosted multiple breakout sessions alongside the main education programme.
Four simultaneous round table style discussions were hosted in four seminar rooms alongside streamed lectures in the Auditorium and Conference Room One.
In all, the show had 437 visitors and 25 exhibitors.
“Our multi-streamed conference required a purpose-built venue that could offer versatility, open space and private rooms for smaller meetings,” said Duncan Reid, event director, Clarion Events.
“That, teamed with our need for a top-class, sophisticated venue that reflected our prestigious guests and content meant that Olympia Conference Centre was the perfect choice.”
Olympia London will also welcome four medical conferences to be held at its conference centre for the first time.
Cogora – formerly Campden Health – will transfer four conferences from the Business Design Centre in Islington to Olympia Conference Centre next year, including Nursing in Practice and Commissioning Live, which is one of the UK’s leading conference-exhibitions dedicated to all things relating to commissioning, held in March 2015.
Clarion revealed new design features for Top Drawer and Home’s Autumn launch, which co-located for the season for the first time alongside Top Drawer at Olympia London in September.
