The Association of Event Organisers (AEO) will stage two free seminars at the upcoming International Confex show to assist organisers launching shows overseas.
The two complimentary sessions will focus on the sustainability of launching in Saudi Arabia and Mexico and will be hosted by regional experts and organisers. The first will be run by British Consultate General in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Greg Gibson and look into business and legal conditions.
The second seminar will be hosted by Foreign Direct Investment Officer of ProMexico, Mario Gonzalez and include advice from Fespa Group sales manager for the Americas and Fespa Mexico 2011 event manager Michael Ryan.
“AEO is offering these seminars in response to recent member research, which indicated that both the Mexican and Saudi Arabian markets are of great interest to exhibition organisers,” AEO CEO Austen Hawkins said. “Our international seminars will provide invaluable in-depth information and case studies on launching and running shows in these regions.”
Several organisers, including Tarsus, have signalled plans to expand internationally in light of improving economic conditions.
